Balance means having the right supports and steps to navigate the path. Living with intention means making sure you have the handrails you need and the right footing so the path - or you - don’t break. Because life can be a bit like a rope bridge! Living intentionally isn’t just about how you want your day or life to feel; it’s about creating a life with balance, not breaking points, or falling off the edge.
Often “Balance” is seen as some magical mythical moment in the future when you fiiiiiinally get all your ducks in a row and none of them are quacking demands at you. At last, you have the pace (or peace) you want. But the chances of that lasting for any significant period of time are very low, because life doesn’t work like that. So rather than balance being a destination, it’s a daily dance. Living with intention means proactively redefining what balance looks and feels like given the context of any given day, and readjusting your priorities based on the day to ensure balance is created.
So as we forge through our Midlife, redefined Daily Journal Guide adventure we are in our second round of Action & Living in Intention, helping you respond to your life, rather than always reacting to it.
